With production already underway, the 2015 Corvette Z06 is nearly ready to hit the roads and tracks of North America. We know the supercharged `Vette is downright fast on paper and past Nurburgring->ke999 footage showed us the road-legal Z06 is nimble as its track-exclusive counterpart, the Z06.R. Everything about is exciting to say the least and I can understand why those who have one on preorder are counting the days until deliveries begin early next year. Those who can't handle the wait will be somewhat relieved to find out there's a brand-new video showing the supercharged beast in its natural environment.

What you'll see above is nearly three minutes of Corvette Z06s revving their V-8 engines, taking tight turns and charging in straight lines like there's no tomorrow, and it all happens on the iconic Road Atlanta track. There are at least five different Vettes lapping the course, meaning Chevy->ke199 was quite busy putting the new halo through its paces before sending it to showrooms nationwide.

The Z06 appears to feel quite comfortable at Road Atlanta, a track that has seen many race-prepped Corvettes thundering down "The Esses," including second- and third-generation cars. Making the video->ke278 even better is that the soundtrack is nothing but supercharged V-8 noise. Pump up the volume and hit play for the best Z06 track footage yet.
