The good folks from AutoTopNL->https://www.youtube.com/c/AutoTopnl] have presented us with a crazy testing video of a third-gen BMW X3 M Competition that has been tuned to crank out 750 horsepower! It is hard to believe that a 4,600-pound SUV can do 0-62 in 2.9 seconds, but this one does it, and the pure sound from that aftermarket exhaust will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

This 750-Horsepower BMW X3 M is No Joke?

BMW launched the refreshed the BMW X3 back in 2021 The update brought enhanced exterior styling and added mild-hybrid technology to the engine. But today, we are looking at the pre-facelift model of the X3 M Competition, which has been tuned to produce an astounding 750 horsepower and 693 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six puts out 473 horsepower and 442 pound-feet in its default state, so mathematically, the tuned S58 engine is 277 horsepower and 251 pound-feet more potent than the standard X3 M Competition.

As a result, the tuned X3 M Competition can do a 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds, which is nuts for a 2.3-ton SUV. Even BMW’s M8 Competition does a 0-62 in 3.2 seconds. Later in the video, we can see how fast the tuned X3 M Competition is over the standing quarter-mile, which is equally as impressive. It takes 6.69 seconds to go from 62-124 mph, 9.60 seconds to go from 0-124 mph, and finally, 10.53 seconds to the quarter-mile.

The video also displays a couple of top speed runs, and the max the X3 M Competition could achieve is 180 mph, which is fast for an SUV. The S58 engine sounds mesmerizing with the added oomph, and the flybys are the proof. The video also contains multiple angles of GoPro footage from the driver’s perspective. It is such a delightful experience to watch an X3 M Competition perform like a supercar. Check out the video and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
