BMW has already released details behind the new 6 Series Coupe Concept and the car will be in attendance at the Paris Motor Show, so with all the coverage and appearances of the car, you’d think that, at some point, we’d all get tired of it. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
Re-designed and given a classier and more luxurious look, the new 6-Series Coupe Concept being billed as the car BMW is banking on to go to battle in a market segment that features a boatload of competitors. The concept version of the 6-Series Coupe will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show while the production version is scheduled to be rolled out just in time for the Geneva Auto Show at the early part of 2011.
While we wait for Paris, BMW was kind enough to give us a look at how the 6-Series Coupe Concept’s design language came to be under the direction of Adrian Van Hooydonk, the car’s chief designer. It’s less than a minute long and if you’re curious to watch how the design behind the new 6-Series Coupe began, it’s certainly worth a watch.
