Not many of us can just hop on a plane and show up to whatever auto show is happening in some part of the world. That’s why the Internet has become the best friend of everybody because you can live through and see what’s happening somewhere around the world from the comforts of your own home.

The 2012 Chicago Auto Show is open to the public for a few more days, but for those that don’t have the means to travel to Chicago, YouTube member ShotSavvy has your back, courtesy of a six-minute-and-something time-lapse video of all the happenings that were taking place in Chicago.

With the 2012 Geneva Motor Show clearly in our sights, taking a look back at everything that transpired at Chicago should be the perfect way to get us all geeked up at what lies ahead on one of the biggest auto shows in the world.
