Similar to just about everything that’s built in production facilities these days, to say that a car plant is a busy workplace is a vast understatement. With all the people and all those machines trying to build about 50 cars per day, idle time in a car production facility is about as rare as seeing a polar bear out on the wild in the Philippines.

And to illustrate our point, Autocar recently released a video of an inside look behind the production of Jaguar->ke39’s new flagship sedan, the 2010 XJ, which is currently being built at the company’s Castle Bromwich production facility.

Currently, Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich facility is producing about 68 XJs per day but now that the sales of the car are increasing, it is expected that the facility will eventually make about 440 vehicles on a weekly basis with a targeted release date of April at the earliest.
