The new Audi R8 GT has been caught for the first time on the streets (somewhere in Cannes). It’s not a professional video, of course, but it’s worth taking a look.

The rookie cameraman allows the viewer to see every inch down one side of the beautiful, lightweight car before stopping to zoom in on the powerful 5.2 FSI V10 engine. The sparkling Ice Silver metallic paint job glistens in the light as the Audi is seen in all of its exotic glory. The cameraman even takes the time to zoom in on the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) rear bumper and sideblades and, in the event anyone questions if this is in fact the GT, the man zooms in on the GT logo placed on the side of the vehicle.

The Audi R8 GT delivers a total of 560 HP and 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. The result of this setup is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in 10.6 seconds, and a top speed of 198.8 mph.

Its a good thing that the owner of the car doesn’t catch this cameraman trying to get a sneak on his Audi car. However, the real life image of this car is extremely fabulous that will leave your jaw dropped.

Looks amazing! The whole package on the car is great as well as the figure performance. I just wonder if it can carry its power output!

I agree.. the v10 5.2 FSI V10 under the r8’s bonnet is smashed down by the v6 VR38DETT engine. pretty nasty job by the japanese, right?

GT or not. R8 is one hell of a super car, but sadly GT-R has put some dirt on it’s reputation, R8 v10 engine is more powerfull but the v6 was played with nissan twin turbo.

Many reviews are telling that it can still go up to 210MPH. I wonder if it’s tire can hold on that kind of speed.

Hmm that’s odd the emblem GT is so small. You won’t even notice on the first glance.
