Comparing cars have always been a calling card for the auto industry. If you’re in the market to purchase a car, it’s always a good idea to do your homework on the cars on your wishlist just so you have a better understanding of what you’re getting yourself into and the merits and demerits of each option you may have.

Over in Europe, the eco-friendly sports car market is getting a nice boost, courtesy of two models that figure to go head-to-head with each other in the coming years: the Honda CR-Z Hybrid and the Peugeot RCZ sports coupe.

As both a hybrid and a frugal 2.0-liter diesel - both the CR-Z and the RCZ - are two vehicles that promote the same thing (fuel-efficiency) yet does so in completely different approaches. The ever-informative kids of AutoExpress took both cars through the ringer to see which one holds the leg up over the other. After a series of tests, the verdict remains unsettled because both cars hold a distinct advantage over the other in different respects.

Watch the video and find out how the CR-Z and the RCZ match up.

There are some retarded comments here. It looks like a bloody Peugeot to me. Go look at some other Peugeot models before you make stupid comments.

However a small but sporty and above all lightweight design is always a plus, especially with hybrids. If it actually ends up being sporty and lightweight that is.

Sunroof Info = Look at the second along in the third row of CR-Z pics above. You will see a promising answer!

I prefer the CR-Z. Its styling is clean and the MPG Numbers definitely in Sport Modus. The RCZ is totally ugly in my Eyes. The Roofline with the Bubble who needs this?
me not definitely... And turbodiesel is a very old dog... boring...

the RCZ is much better! quality, road handling, etc... the problem with the CR-Z is its build quality, it looks modern but so cheap! the peaugeot dos look stunning indeed!
