You have to wonder how those drivers from security agencies are able to withstand the pressures of their jobs and go home for a nice, long sleep. The constant threat of danger is nerve-wracking, to say the least. Yet somehow, these people seem to know exactly what to do at those crucial times of peril.

Turns out, they’ve got a pretty extensive set of training to be able to keep their cool in dire situations. One automaker that specializes on this type of training is BMW and apparently, the German automaker even has a special test facility in East Germany – a former Soviet base, of all places – where they do their security training.

In addition to having a driver-training program that simulates dangerous real-world conditions, the site is also a place where BMW gets to play ‘nuke ‘em’ on some of their armored vehicles. If this isn’t the coolest place on the planet, we don’t know what is.

Check it out to see how all the mayhem unfolds.

Come to think of it, it probably won’t be easy. You can’t simply show them your driver’s license and go in. you need to have the proper security background to fit in for this one.

Nice, that would definitely make an interesting job, and you even get to drive a nice car to boot. Wonder how easy it is to get into BMW’s driver training program.
