Video: BMW Z4 vs Nissan 370Z

The BMW Z4 and Nissan 370Z are both dream cars. And Fifth Gear had the chance to place them face to face. Japanese technology vs. German technology tested by the British press. Sounds interesting, no?

Fifth Gear tested the BMW Z4 sDrive35i, a model powered by a twin-turbo inline-six cylinder engine that develops a total of 300 Hp. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 5.1 seconds, while top speed is limited to 130 mph.

The Nissan 370Z is powered by a VQ37VHR 3.7 Liter V6 with VVEL rated at 332 HP and 270 lb-ft of torque. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 4,7 seconds and top speed is limited to 155 mph.

So, at first glance, the 370Z seems to be a better choice, but what did the British magazine think? Check out the video to find out!

The deliver power output of the car is kind of powerful for a v6 technology. I’m really impressed with these vehicle!

IMO, the speed performance of these vehicles are both impressive. And I think whoever wins in the race will not determine who is better.

I watched the video and Nissan dominates the BMW. Unfortunately.

@adam_valentine; so if you’ve driven enough Nissans, have you tried the GT-R?, now tell me the difference because your exaggerating your conclusion that the quality of the cars in Nissan is on low quality.

It’s not a Z4 M. It’s a Z4 Roadster. Of course the Nissan isn’t really cheap, but I’ve driven enough Nissans to be able to tell the quality of the materials is mostly poor. Your comparison about Rosie O’Donnell and Megan Fox is irrelevant.

the new BMW Z4 and the Nissan 370Z, putting each car through the paces. Although the 10-minute video favors the Z4, the Nissan has a few surprises.

He even can’t say a thing about the 70z performance.the Z is built for drifting it’s 50/50 balance is very helpful specially in dealing with tight drift corners.

IMO, I still choose the Nissan 370z because it’s style is are very bold and it’s stance is more aggressive than the z4 and of course it’s costs it quite lower than the z4.
