The guys from the British Magazine, AutoCar, were recently able to get behind the wheel of the new Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. And to tell you the truth, we feel kind of sorry for them, not because they were able to drive around in a supercar that has a 16-cylinder engine with four enlarged turbochargers and bigger intercoolers that all together produce 1200hp. And not because they were in the supercar that currently holds the top speed record of 267mph. No, we feel sorry for them because the basis of their review was to see how the Bugatti handled itself on public roads. What’s the fun in that?
We’re sure the experience was not all lost, though. AutoCar was still able to drive around in a limited "World Record Edition" Veyron that just so happens to be the fastest and most expensive - currently - vehicle on the market. Not a bad gig. Not a bad gig at all.
