Now that Megan Fox is officially out of Transformers 3, she leaves behind a trail of devastated weeping males that are all trying to figure out how a two-and-half hour robot movie is going to feel like without their favorite piece of eye candy.

Well, if you’re paying close attention to the movie’s production, Fox’s absence shouldn’t be felt too bad by auto enthusiasts considering that Michael Bay finally decided to upgrade his new robots by bringing in a slew of supercars to play the roles of the peace-loving Autobots and the destruction-seeking Decepticons.

One car that’s scheduled to be in the movie and has gotten the public’s attention is the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept, a car that – in case you missed its designation – is not, nor will it ever be, production-ready because, well, it’s a “concept”.

But even if the car will only be subject to our imaginations, this video of it making an appearance at the Transformers set in downtown Chicago certainly got the gathered crowd oohing and aahing at the concept. One man – we’re guessing he’s the one with the video recorder – even had a nice line for the boys of Chevrolet->ke199 who decided against putting the Stingray Corvette concept in production.

Listen up, Chevy. This dude knows what he’s talking about.
