This past few days have been pretty crazy for Chris Harris, as we’ve seen him reviewing his personal Ferrari 599 and now he was invited to test the Formula Ford 1.0 Ecoboost (FF1). He had the chance to drive the car both on German public roads and on the famous Nürburgring track.

The Formula Ford is powered by a 1.0-liter Ford EcoBoost direct-injection engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine delivers a total of 205 horsepower and sprints the car from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds and up to a top speed of 158 mph.

It’s true Harris was not able to lap the Nürburgring’s famed Nordschleife circuit in just 7:22, but as usual, his reviews are a great watch.

The Formula Ford is a great car and Harris seems to agree with this. There is one little problem; it won’t make it to production.
