The folks over at Codemasters may not have the cache - or maybe the high-volume marketing tools - compared to Sony and Turn 10 Studios, but that certainly doesn’t mean that they’re video game offerings, F1 2012 and GRID 2, are less enjoyable than their Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport counterparts.

The latter, in particular, looks to be something that we could spend hours upon hours of our weekends playing. The highly anticipated sequel to the popular GRID video game is set to hit shelves in the summer of 2013 and while that may still be a long time away, you can never be too early to drum up excitement for your game.

So these trailers of GRID 2 show us exactly what we’re in store for when the game becomes available. Some cars in the trailers are pretty swell, particularly the old-school Mach 1 running with the new Ford Mustang Boss 302.

If for nothing else, these trailers make us want to have the game hit shelves far sooner than it’s supposed to.
