The Ferrari 458 Italia, the latest 8 cylinder two seater berlinetta from Maranello made its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show and we have the video to prove it. The new 548's 4.5 Liter V8 makes a screaming 570 HP and is combined with the Italian automaker's F1 double clutch gearbox and a 3000 pound curb weight means that every prancing horse only has to haul around five and a third pounds of 458->ke3479 allowing the new sports car to sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in under 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 202 MPH.

Former Formula One competitor and Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher played a major part in the car's creation even from the early stages of the project and was of fundamental importance in creating an almost symbiotic relationship between the car and driver.

Aside from the video of the car at the show, there are highlights from the Frankfurt press conference as well as a few words with Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and of course the seven time world champion Michael Schumacher after the jump.

More videos after the jump.
