This past week, everyone’s attention has been focused on the new Ferrari F12Berlinetta, but we can’t forget about another one of Ferrari’s fairly recent vehicular beauties: the Ferrari 458 Italia.

This video was shot by the talented Marchettino - who has already captured our interests with many of his previous works. His latest piece shows off the 458 Italia in action on the race track. Next to an impressive driving extravaganza, you will also enjoy the most amazing sounds coming out of the engine.

As a reminder, the 458 Italia is powered by a 4,499 cc V8 engine that delivers a total of 570 HP at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 398 lb-ft at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a F1 dual-clutch gearbox and sprints the sports car from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.4 seconds while top speed goes up to an impressive 201 mph.

Italia’s really hitting the scene lately.

That video only shows how this car truly belongs on the track.

I think the track is short enough to show what this 458 Italia can do on its way. It was literally zooming into the track.

No wonder it gives out that performance figure; its engine is dynamically-inclined, and is also efficient. That is why it runs smoothly and fast.

I’d love to experience driving this one; it’s seeming truly dynamic and efficient.

I can’t wait for its roadster. And I hope there won’t be changes once they’ve decided to produce it.

With this, we can conclude that Ferrari doesn’t only go for power but also for speed. It really zoomed through the track!

If you are wondering how the performance went, why don’t you drive it yourself so you can judge better? smiley

If this Ferrari is good on tracks, then how about on the streets? I wish there would be a street-legal version.

This car is really good on running along the tracks; the performance is impressive.

Ferrari is quite the best in terms of engine mechanics. Maybe they should produce another impressive machine that is excellent in terms of speed.

Maybe they aren’t similar in terms of performance, but it doesn’t mean Italia is lagging behind. On what I’ve seen, it’s equally efficient.

Since this is Ferrari, I already assumed that this would fierce on the run. Well, look at the figures of its performance; it’s really speedy and powerful.

The shot is nice; it captured the best angle of the 458 Italia. On the other hand, the car itself is apparently magnificent and sleek on the run. The 4,499cc V8 engine makes it so efficient.
