Anytime you get the chance to have two mouth-watering supercars in the same video, it absolutely becomes required watching.

Road & Track released this teaser video of two of the best supercars on the market today, the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. Picking between the two is like picking between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. You won’t go wrong with either one. On one corner, you have the 458 Italia, a car that despite the problems it has encountered recently, is still high on top of our wish list. Conversely, the Gallardo Superleggera isn’t too far behind either. Some of you might even prefer the other one. Either way, there’s nothing wrong with having one of these cars in your garage.

The auto magazine left a lot of details surrounding this comparison between the 458 Italia and the Gallardo out of the video – we’re guessing it’s going to come out in their magazine – but they did tell us what they prefer on the street and on the track..

Check out the video to find out.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

I’m really impressed on their performances. However, I was thinking winning on this race can’t tell on who is the best!

Superleggera and Italia are one of the best vehicle in the market! And seeing them on the race is kind of interesting. I was impressed in the performance of these car!

The tough competitor of the Italia recently is the Mclaren 12C. The competitor of the car is kind of impressive. I have heard that the 12C have ranked in the number two list in Top Gear’s fastest car.

I have to admit that both cars have an impressive speed performance. However, there’s no more active production for the Gallardo. I think this news is kind of outdated.

Looking at the horsepower of these car, admittedly , the Gallardo have an impressive performance. I will go for the Lambo car.

hmm. This is already outdated for the new model of the 458 Italia would be better to compare to the 12C. I think there’s no more production for the Gallardo.

Well, i guess you’re right. Its really hard to choose between this high performing car. I think the only thing to be considered is the elegance and styling of both car.

Needless to say, but both cars have an impressive figure performance and its hard to determined on which car is the best! And I don’t think that a race would be a closing remarks for this question.

Wow, first time ever I agree with Uncia.
Not only can you not go wrong with the 911 GT3, it is a much more fun car to drive. Manual transmission and RWD. Perfect. I’ll take the GT3 RS and save a ton of money over either of these fireballs.

I still like the Superleggera better.

"You won’t go wrong with either one." Really? They both have problems catching fire and you can’t go wrong with either one? Last time I checked, nobody cares how fast or flashy your car is when its burnt to the ground. If you want a sports car of this caliber that you "can’t go wrong with," buy a 911 GT3.
