Our hangover from the Goodwood Festival of Speed->ke3879 isn't over just yet. How can it be when we continue to receive more videos->ke278 of the thing that went on there days after its conclusion?

This time, our daily Goodwood update comes from Ford->ke31, which is presenting a totally new kind of head-to-head racing that uses both the real and virtual world to showcase its new 2015 Ford Focus ST.

The set-up is pretty: a real Ford Focus ST will be driven by former Stig Ben Collins for a lap up the Goodwood hill. His opponent is Krisztian Somodi, who is in charge of driving the same Focus ST inside Gran Turismo 6.

A splendid commentary added some life to the race and while it wasn't to the level of Ian Darke, it was certainly entertaining enough to keep us riveted to the action. In the end, the real Focus ST managed to beat GT6 version up the hill with Collins posting a lap time of 1.05:13, one-tenth of a second faster than Somodi's 1.05:23 lap time.

But the 2015 Ford Focus is the real winner here. Who knew it was capable of lapping Goodwood that fast?
