Formula One is no stranger to weird accidents, but in the years that we've watched the sport, we can't pinpoint one crash involving just one car that's as perplexing as what happened to Toro Rosso's Sebastian Buemi during a practice run at the Shanghai Grand Prix over the weekend.

There's video of the incident too, so if you're dumb-founded as to what we're talking about, we're giving you time to watch it for yourselves.

In any case, the incident occurred after Buemi was doing one of his practice runs. At first, you wouldn't notice anything particularly wrong with the car. The drive looks smooth, the car seems to be working quite well, but then - out of nowhere, really - the two front tires literally fly off of the car simultaneously!

We can't stress the 'simultaneous' part enough because we've never seen it happen in a Formula One car before. And that's saying something considering we've witnessed some pretty weird crashes out there over the years.
