The official trailer for Furious 7, the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious} franchise, is set to be released on November 1, 2014. Ahead of that highly anticipated drop, Universal Pictures has prepared a handful of teaser trailers, dubbed “The Road to Furious 7," to build up the excitement.

The hype video is a three-minute highlight of the past six movies, featuring some of the most memorable scenes of the franchise. In addition to the launch trailer, there is also a pair of seven-second snippets titled “7 Seconds of 7” and a “Furious 7 Cast Favorites” video->ke278 that talks about some of the most iconic cars to appear in the franchise, including the 1970 Dodge Charger that Michelle Rodriguez appropriately said symbolizes the entire movie franchise.

I can’t speak for everybody else here, but I’ve waited long enough for the movie to arrive, so these teasers really aren’t doing anything to get me more pumped up than I already am. That being said, I understand wholeheartedly the reasons why the wait took longer than all of us expected.

The movie was supposed to have been released already, but the tragic and untimely death of star Paul Walker understandably pushed those plans back. Now that we’re approaching the first anniversary of his death, it seems that everyone is finally moving forward with the build-up for Furious 7.

It would’ve been a lot better if Walker was still alive, but if there’s anybody who would’ve wanted the movie to become the rip-roaring success we all expect it to be, it would be him.

Furious 7 is scheduled to hit theaters on April 3, 2015, so this gives us a full five months to get all worked up for its release.
