James Glickenhaus, the mastermind behind the Ferrari P4/5 Pininfarina and the P4/5 Competizione, is working on his next supercar.->ke177 the SCG 003, Very little is known about the vehicle other than the fact that will feature a bespoke carbon-fiber chassis and body, but according to a teaser released via Road and Track the SCG 003 is starting to take shape.

The two-minute video isn't very revealing, despite the fact that the footage was shot right in Glickenhaus' shop, but it confirms that the SCG 003 is indeed a unique vehicle. Unlike the P4/5, it is not based on any existing car and every single piece, be it a body panel or a damper is being built by Glickehaus' team.

The supercar will ride on an ultra rigid and lightweight carbon-fiber chassis and it appears that the body, developed with input from Formula One->ke662 engineer Paolo Catone, will feature an LMP1-inspired design. The car is expected to tip the scales at around 1,600 pounds and carry a V-12 engine under its hood.
