Director Ron Howard claims that the Niki Lauda - James Hunt rivalry was "one of the greatest in all of sports.” As fans of Formula One, you won’t find many arguments coming from us.

In this 3-minute "featurette" video, we’re treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the Howard’s upcoming movie "Rush,” which chronicles the explosive and equally dramatic rivalry between Lauda and Hunt at the peak of their powers.

In addition to Howard, the featurette also includes interviews with both Daniel Bruhl and Chris Hemsworth, who play Lauda and Hunt, respectively.

"Rush" is, without question, one of the most eagerly anticipated motorsports movies in a long time. Not only does it have a top-caliber director in Ron Howard, but both Bruhl and Hemsworth appear to make for quite a good pairing in telling the story of the iconic race car drivers.

"Rush" is scheduled to hit cinemas on September 20th, 2013, but for now, you can check out the first full trailer of the movie after the jump!

He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More
