In the years since Gran Turismo->ke3689 has been released, the game has turned into one of the pillar franchises for the PlayStation->ke4615. It's become so big, in fact, that it's ventured into the world of mainstream consciousness, so much so that a documentary about the game has been developed.

Not a video game, folks. A documentary.

It's called "Kaz: Pushing the Virtual Drive," and if you didn't know, the name "Kaz" was derived from the man responsible for creating the video game in the first place: Kazunori Yamauchi.

In the film, we get treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the history and technology behind the Gran Turismo franchise. It's got fans on both sides of the spectrum who either love the game or hate it, but one thing nobody can dispute is the fact that the game has turned into one of the richest and most popular franchises in history.

All that can be tied up to Yamaguchi, who's obsession with cars knows no bounds. And what more fitting way to show the world how much of a gearhead and a grease monkey you really are than by turning your love into an icon of pop culture.

That's how much Gran Turismo has grown over the years and "Kaz: Pushing the Virtual Drive" will let you in on all the secrets that helped the game reach the heights it has reached.

Best of all, if you live in an area that's Hulu-compatible, you can watch the entirety of the documentary there.

Otherwise, you can wait for it to appear on a variety of other platforms, including the Sony Movie Channel, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, and Crackle from February 5.
