Video: Home-made racing simulator rocks our senses!

Remember that two-hundred ton F1 simulator Ferrari has tucked somewhere in their research facility?

Turns out, you can probably make your own F1 Simulator and fit it inside your bedroom. All you need to have is a flat-screen HDTV, some pretty extensive knowledge of physics and robotics, and it’ll probably be advantageous to also know how to build the damned thing from scratch.

Don’t think it’s impossible to do because this really lucky dude has one working just fine – mighty fine, even.

But hey, if you have neither the capabilities nor the finances to build such an awesome simulator, it’s not the end of the world. But you’d probably be green with envy too – just like we are – of this guy hamming it up Wipeout-style.

Let him be, that’s the only place where he could drive his favorite cars in just one day.

Now there goes a great setup for you race simulation. It’s amazing on how the set up can handle the guy and on how it responds to the reactions made by the owner. It’s cool to see on how the stimulator reacts when he pushes the pedal to the metal and on how it reacts when he brakes hard. I wonder how it feels when driving in this stimulator.

If the person prefer to do a racing in his own house why not let him be. But there’s no place I would exchange the feeling of the real race to a video race.
