In the years that we’ve been covering the auto industry, we’ve seen just about any type of car crash imaginable. From head-on collisions to supercars diving into lagoons, the list is endless on the ways owners seem to destroy their beloved supercars.

On the flip side, we rarely come across a documented video of a supercar escaping a crash by the skin of its teeth so imagine our joy and relief when we saw this video of a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce come oh-so close to becoming the third SuperVeloce – and the second in as many weeks – to become another car crash statistic.

Check out the video and watch how the owner of the Murcielago SV managed to avert getting clipped by on-coming SUV at the last second. Close call indeed.

Yeah, I have to agree on that one. It was just a cm away before this car actually hit each other. I really don’t want to see a car crashed and a broke faces of sportscar.

Yeah, that was almost too close! I think its just a second away before the SUV and Lamborghini bumped each other! Well, it seems that these guys were just lucky.

It seems that dude is still lucky! That was too close and the good thing is that he drive in the side of the road. In that case, I think there should be a traffic lights in that area for the safety of the drivers.

Well, most probably if the Murcielago hit on the SUV, I think the injury that they will get is small bruised. And I guess this is not the worst crashed that happened in this car. Accident is inevitable so we need to be careful guys!

I have heard that they will be producing ten copies for the Chinese market. I don’t know if Chinese people can drive this car at 150 mph (its just a shame). Anyways, i don’t get why they are putting wings on it, in fact its not a Ferrari or Aston Martin afterall.

Naah, I think it was just a minor mistake. The driver must have been too excited that he pressed the gas pedal to the metal too much. That’s what happens when you have a really powerful engine driven by inexperienced driver.

@Naterade22: I think this should be a lesson on people that are playing with their supercars.

I think that’s the big problem with supercars, you can lose control on the wheel because, of the speed of the car, that can cause tragedy.

Well the SV’s Driver’s is to much arrogant, good thing that SUV didn’t turn right that time. if he did he may run over the SV.

Learn to drift before you try to do it in a Murcielago. Its not just turning the wheel and hitting the gas.
