The McLaren P1 made its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and now, almost three months later, the first P1 unit finally arrived in the U.S. The first model was spotted at McLaren’s dealership in Newport Beach, California.
The P1 is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine combined with an embedded electric motor to create a total power figure of 903 horsepower and an estimated 1,100 pound-feet of torque at launch. With this amount of power the P1 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 217 mph.
This video is offering you a closer look on the new P1, showing both the exterior and the carbon fiber-wrapped interior cabin - the best look so far.
The P1 is limited to only 375 units, each carrying a price tag of $1.15 million.
