The new Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing has already received high praises from arguably everybody in all corners of the world. We figured that Mercedes didn’t have to do anything anymore to convince anyone that their new supercar isn’t drool-worthy.

But just to be on the safe side – literally and figuratively – Mercedes recently released a new video of the new SLS AMG undergoing a series of crash test in the company’s safety labs.

In the video, the SLS AMG undergoes a series of metal-crunching crashes, including one head-on collision and another after being dropped on its roof. As you can imagine with a car that has the full support of Mercedes, the SLS AMG managed to pass the crash test with flying colors, even after being subjected to some pretty nasty spills and collisions.
