The first images of the 2011 Mercedes E-Class Convertible appeared on the internet last week, and today the German automaker has just released two new videos featuring the new drop top E-Class. The car will go on sale in March 2010 and take over the role of the previous CLK convertible, and even if there are not many official details about the convertible just yet, the new E-Class convertible will make its international debut tomorrow at the Dubai Motor Show.

The convertible version is based on the stylish E-Class Coupe and will be available with the same range of four, six and eight cylinder engines that come in the latest E-class saloon and coupe. The convertible model will be available with Aircap fitted standard, a system that raises a wind deflector at the top of the windscreen to direct wind 20cm higher, over the top of the passenger compartment and can operate effectively at up to 161 MPH.
