AMS Performance is usually known for customizing Lancer EVO models. So it was quite surprising to find out that their latest project involves a Nissan GT-R. The tuning house developed a kit for the Nissan GT-R that helped the sports car break the nine-second, quarter-mile barrier for the first time.

AMS Performance used an SR850 Package, a performance package that bumped up the GT-R’s power to a staggering 763 bhp. The result is a quarter mile run that was made in 9.89 seconds.

Check out the video and find out how the AMS Performance-tuned GT-R handled all that additional power under its hood

Silvestre_Wall agree, I wonder how fast can a dyno can spin.

Good thing that the GT-R AMS didn’t break the Dyno. Last time they tested the Super snake it was almost break the Dyno.

Awesome video. What is up with the backfiring exhaust eh. Lol. Anyways, it wouldn’t really be something new if it can take a quarter in a mile in that fast considering that it beat the time of Porsche in the Nurbugring circuit for quite a large lead. It is truly a Godzilla. Anyways, since they have tuned this car and they tune the EVO cars as well, why not host a race between the two cars as for the past few years, they seem to be the two good competitors in their division. It will definitely be awesome to see them on the tracks.

I always love how that car runs fast. You will see through the style and engine things down to the bottom line how it become so powerful.
