Video: Nissan Project 370Z

Now that the facelift version of the 370Z sports car is out, Nissan has a new task for you: the company needs your help to create the coolest 370Z ever. All you have to do is go on Facebook and tell Nissan how would you update the coupe.

The first task is to choose the engine to be placed under the hood: should it be naturally aspirated like the NISMO race cars, supercharged or twin turbo? "We’ve got three different ways to go on the engine build so let us know which route to take and why you’d want it for this Z car."

"Together we’ll create a vehicle that expands on the already outstanding performance and style of the Nissan 370Z with a balance of street and track ready modification," said Jon Brancheau, vice president of Nissan Marketing North America.

It was a great idea that the people who have Facebook accounts have the power to create the car in a million ideas. It’s brilliant isn’t it? So, I must say that I should go to the to share what I want to see on the next Nissan Project.

Why need Facebook if they can do it here on Topspeed? Well, a lot of changes a customer might suggest, but is Nissan ready to take the risks of being flooded by the comments and suggestions? Wherever this lead to one thing is for sure, the power was still in the decision of Nissan.
