The concept of parkour can be summed up with a quote: "When an obstacle gets in your way you can hold fate responsible. We prefer to think of it as a gift. That is our freedom: overcoming the obstacle together." So, what does this have to do with Porsche? Pretty much nothing, but Pascal Lemoine decided to put four parkour guys against a 997 Carrera GTS.
The four parkour guys were put against the 997 Carrera GTS in the beautiful French Alps. The four guys are Clément Dumais, Nicolas Mathieux, Paul Roux Dit Buisson and Léo Rubin and behind the wheel was Hervé Hernandez.
For those of you who do not remember, the Carrera GTS is powered by a 3.8-liter engine that delivers a total of 402 horsepower and 310 pound-feet at 4,200 rpm. The GTS can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 190 mph. That’s a whole lot of car to overcome with parkour.
