Video: Ram’s new "My name is Ram" commercial

After breaking off from Dodge to become it’s own self-sustaining brand under the Chrysler Group, Ram decided to kick things off with a new advertising campaign that’s centered on the new brand’s introduction - or re-introduction - to the American truck market.

The new spot, which is titled ’Manifesto’, will feature a bombardment of still photos that comes with a deliberate narration of how the new ’Ram’ is supposed to be ’fueled by optimism’ and boasting of a ’can-do spirit’.

On the first night of its release, the ad ran a total of 190 times in various networks, giving all those glued to their TV sets a first-hand look at the new Ram and how - as it says so frequently in the spot - it’s tank is full.

This heavy duty equipment can last for a lifetime. I’m impressed on how the car was introduced thought its kind of similar with the Chevy commercial.

Impressive! If there’s a competition for the best commercial I definitely nominate this one. As a viewer, I was amazed on the reliability of this car. With the various usage of this vehicle, Ram really proves on how great is its engine.

Well this is one cool video. Dodge really works well for my business. No wonder this brand has won numerous awards such as Truck of the year and more.

"A James Bond’s line concept", it’s kinda confusing that a model can break off on its own manufacturer? But anyways at least now Chrysler have that stand alone brand to their group and Ram really did a great job on pulling off a commercial like this. Wonder if we can consider it as a competitor of Hummer.

IMO, I don’t think that Ram can sustain this one. Of course I know when Dodge launched Ram and have a great sales on the market but now the confidence to stand-alone is not a great move. But will see if this raging Ram will do the magic.

It’s tank is full huh ... at around 10 mpg, we’ll see how long that lasts or costs the American public!

Ram is not a separate Chrysler mark, but what happened is it became a sort of Dodge sub-brand, sort of like AMG for Mercedes but for trucks rather than performance cars.
