Now that General Motors has survived the financial crisis, the company is setting its sights on reinventing itself after going through perhaps the most tenuous time in its history.

As part of its new marketing effort to get back on the good side of America, GM will be releasing a series of commercials showing that the company is back in the automotive ball game.

We’re pretty happy to see that GM has finally put its troubles behind them and is slowly but surely getting back on its feet. And while some folks would say ‘welcome back’, we’re reserving our return greetings because we don’t think that the company never left in the first place.

The commercials debuted last night during the Emmy Awards and on a number of other NFL games. In case you missed an of them, here are the ads for your viewing pleasure.

exactly Uncia, people are stupid and believe commercials without thinking any farther into it, thus why GM decided to do it. People are stupid and they will listen, even though it makes no sense.

Aside from the EPA’s biased mpg ratings, this comercial isn’t even comparing equal vehicles. They are comparing a 4-cylinder Malibu to a V6 Camry, a base Silverado to a 5.7 V8 Tundra, ect.
