Rhys Millen’s Pike Peak Hill Climb participation is only a few days away - Sunday, June 27, to be exact - and the driver is hard at work fine-tuning his Hyundai Genesis PM580 racer which he will be sitting behind the wheel in as he embarks on his Pikes Peak journey.

We already featured the car a few months ago, but with the race only a few days away, Millen and his Red Bull team are in overdrive preparing for the moment of truth. In this video, the boys are seen taking the PM580 out for a couple of test runs and chronicling the journey they’ve embarked on leading up to this point.

Just in case you needed to be refreshed on the Genesis PM580, the super racer comes with a modified 4.1-liter Hyundai Lambda V6 engine with an HKS turbocharger, an intercooler, and an exhaust system that produces a total of 775 horsepower and 750 lb/ft of torque.

For sure rhys had a lot of fun driving his very own design and performance car.

That was totally awesome, the wheels drive so smooth even the ground is full of sand, still the speed are there.

This is just a tribute to rhys, but rhys will never drive this.
