Fernando Alonso recently had his thumbs insured so if we were him, we'd steer clear of comedians Ken Jeong (Knocked Up, The Hangover) and Joel McHale (host for The Soup) for now.

The two comedians recently partnered with Sprint to wage a war on thumbs, that is thumbs that are used for texting. You can come out now, Fernando. You're thumbs aren't in any danger.

In the never-ending crusade against texting while driving, Sprint has released a PSA featuring McHale and Jeong, both of whom are leading the war against the perils of texting while driving. Texting while driving is one of the biggest reasons teenagers in America are getting into more car accidents these days so, if you're willing to join the war against this latest trend, Jeong and McHale have a simple message for you: put a sock on those thumbs! That way, you won't be inclined to text when you're behind the wheel of your car. Check out the video for the full PSA.
