The VMax200 evoMax is the kind of supercar->ke177 gathering that I can only dream about getting invited to. But first I’ll need to have a supercar to be able to join the fun. Last I checked, I don’t have one, so like most people without an exotic in their garage, I’m going to settle for watching this video prepared by the event’s partner, Evo Magazine.

The event, which was organized by Augo Vivendi, drew a lot of owners and their high-priced supercar babies. Name an exotic and it probably had owner in attendance. One particular car that caught a lot of peoples' attention was the Ferrari LaFerrari.->ke4626 The LaFerrari is one of a handful of supercars that still stands out when lined up against others of its kind, including the Bugatti Veyron.->ke1112

As you can expect, the objective of the event is for these supercar owners to play around with their cars without worrying about getting speeding tickets. An official time keeper was also on hand to record the top speed of these cars with the goal of determining which one can go the fastest.

The LaFerrari was in the running but ultimately had to settle for third place at 207 mph, which it shared with the Bugatti Veyron and a heavily tuned SVM Nissan Qashqai.->ke1889 The three were bested by a pair of Porsche’s,->ke1 including Nine Excellence’s 9EXX 996 Turbo, which took top honors at 212 mph, followed closely by an RS Tuning-built 997 GT2 at 208 mph.

The video->ke278 above is a great six-and-a-half-minute recap of the event. It’s probably best to watch it with your speakers turned way up.
