Video: Take a walking tour around the Protoscar Lampo2 electric car

The Protoscar Lampo2, which is scheduled to be make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show, has been unveiled in advance to give all of the ‘supposed’ pistonheads the opportunity to put their two cents in on the Swiss-built electric car.

Sporting two electric motors that combine for 300kW – about 402 horsepower – and around 473 lb-ft of torque, the Lampo2 is cable of reaching speeds in excess of 120 mph and a 0-60mph time of just a shade under five seconds. Powering the Lampo2 will be a 30kWh Lithium-Ion battery that allows the car to be driven – at full charge – in distances of up to 200 km.

We’ve already discussed the Lampo2 in great detail, but we still haven’t shown you the car’s promotional video, which takes you on a relatively simple walking tour of the Lampo2.

Check it out.

200 km/h is ok for an electric car. they could change the ratio to arrive an higher speed, but then the great torque would feel poor.

I agree that the rear tire hub design is a little bit uncalled for. It just doesn’t suit the whole design of the car. Anyways, it is great still that there is such car. Hybrids and electrics will surely be the future of cars (for now) and the good news about it is that aside from them being good in giving mileage, they also produce less emission for pollution.

It looks pretty neat and aggressive but still, I don’t know why the rear wheels are designed like that, it doesn’t seem that cool or good of a design, it just makes changing tires a little bit more hassle.. I love the interior though the meter dashboard seems a little bit complicated as everything is digitalized.
