Remember that teaser video we had of Tanner Foust performing a drift along the famed strip of Mulholland Drive?

Well, here’s the whole video for you to enjoy.

The whole video was masterfully shot and the edits and cuts to the car’s interior as well as the slow-motion shots of Foust’s Rockstar Scion tC drift car is just plain mind-blowing. Foust manoeuvres his drift car with so much ease you’d actually think he was sipping on some Rockstar inside the car. But in all seriousness, there’s nothing like seeing someone do drift after drift after drift in a pretty intimidating road like Mulholland Drive, especially at that stretch Los Angelinos have come to call ‘The Snake’.

There needs to be some serious driving and drifting skills involved if anybody can even attempt to replicate what Tanner Foust did, which, if you still haven’t seen yet, you should watch right about now.

I was going to throw in a Sticky Pedal joke after watching that video, but I think I’ll pass this time.

I really hope they make Top Gear cant touch the original of course but still. If they’re smart they’ll secure Tim Allen...he has great taste in cars as well as a huge garage and he knows his stuff.

I live on Cold water Canyon less than 2 miles from Mulholland Drive. I enjoy a spirited drive on Mulholland from time to time, but usually at night because you always wind up behind somebody in an SUV or minivan driving 25 mph during the day. They definitely had to have Mulholland closed down to do this. It’s funny, and more than coincidental in my opinion, that last week parts of Mulholland were closed, supposedly due to mudslides from all the rain we’ve had recently. It’s more likely that almost bankrupt L.A. County jumped on the opportunity to make some quick cash from Rock star Energy Drink by selling them exclusive use of Mulholland
for the day

I was going to throw in a Sticky Pedal joke after watching that video, but I think I’ll pass this time. Anyway, why hasn’t Toyota made the TC in RWD yet? Would be a nice sports car. Especially if you added a nice little 200+hp 4cyl to it.

Tanner Foust is a good driver and I have liked the way he handle cars since I seen him race in a rally car. The video looks so cool and I think that it’s just a very easy task for Tanner. I do hope that nobody tries it at home though, specially with their parent’s stock engine cars as it definitely wouldn’t end as beautiful as this video.

I really like the beginning of the video wherein they showed all the turns and curves of the mountain. It just gives excitement to the viewer. Kinda like a track that you will see in a Initial D or Battle Gear race game simulator. Man that should have been the track that they used in Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, the helicopter shot made it really a cool thing to watch.
