Remember that memorable Forza 5 "Filmspeed" ad featuring the 2014 McLaren MP4-12C that was shown a few weeks ago?

We admit that we still can’t get enough of it, specifically the process that was involved in actually making the video. What a lot of people didn’t know from the video was that no less than Tanner Foust, the same guy who hosts Top Gear USA, was the man behind the wheel of the MP4-12C.

Coming from the man who was responsible for driving the supercar to make sure that the angles were all hit on the right spots, Foust takes us on a behind-the-scenes look on how the video ad came to be. It’s a fascinating look at one of the most creative ads we’ve seen in a while.

Trust us: if you liked the commercial when you first saw it, this episode of Life in the Foust Lane will give you a deeper level of appreciation of Forza Motorsport’s Filmspeed animation.

He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More
