Video: The first official preview of Forza Motorsport 4

We haven’t even gotten our customary 100 hours of gameplay on the Need for Speed: SHIFT 2 Unleashed and we’re already being given a glimpse of the fourth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game franchise.

Call us conspiracy theorists, but as far as we’re concerned, there’s nothing coincidental about this. The folks of Microsoft are gearing up for what they claim to be the most cutting-edge racing game in history and their banking on the "Kinect" interactive controller to take the whole Forza gaming experience to a whole new level.

Not a lot of details were revealed about Forza 4, except that it is scheduled to be launched sometime in the fall of this year. As far as expectations are concerned, well, this preview video just ratcheted up the hyper for this game. The developers promised better graphics, an up-to-date list of the biggest, fastest and most powerful supercars, new gameplay modes, and even its own Top Gear feature.

Needless to say, expectations are extremely high for Forza 4, and we hope that the folks behind it are up to the task. In the meantime, check out the video of the game’s first official preview.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

For me, I’m really excited on this game because I want to experience something new aside from the GT5 and NFS that I’m playing right now!

haha. I bet those gamers that have a high expectation this car is tired on the game their currently playing!

I wonder what new features they have added to the game. From this preview alone, it still seems to look like the previous games .

Well, I would be looking forward to this one. I actually like the whole Forza series because the game play is really good and the graphics are also rather great.

Hey, what happened to the video? I can’t see the preview of Forza. Well, there’s nothing shocking about the future released of the Forza since its not that long before the NFS has debuted. I guess this would be a great competition in the game market!

Well, this one might not be as big as the other games, but it is still very good. The gameplay is challenging enough that you will keep on playing it.

I think I will have to pass on this one. I have nothing on Forza, but there still is something in it that I find quite lacking when compared to other games.

I must say that the gameplay graphics of this one isn’t as good as that of Gran Turismo or NFS. But this is definitely good in its own right.

Wow, it’s one great game after another. And it’s really coming fast too, I haven’t even piled up enough credits in NFS, and this one is now tempting me.

Eagerly waiting to watch a preview of this game. But why the video is removed, by sharing it, they only allow it to be more popular and people know it much faster. Hmm. disappointment.
