Shooting a $3.6mil Bugatti — Pepper Yandell BTS
Just recently got contacted with an email containing the subject line "Bugatti Dallas" — my interest was instantly piqued. This Bugatti Veyron Rembrandt was actually the first Bugatti I had ever even seen in person. I couldn't have picked a better one for my first experience either, with only 3 made in the world, it's not your typical Veyron; if there is such a thing.
I shot this $3,200,000 Veyron for Park Place Bugatti here in Dallas, TX. I was hoping they would throw me the keys for it like the rest of my shoots, but alas it didn't happen like that this time, hah.
This shoot was a great reminder that things don't always happen as planned, and especially when a delivery schedule is involved. The shoot was planned for the day the car was arriving in Dallas, for delivery to the new private owner. We had 4-5 hours scheduled for the entire production, which would allow us plenty of time to follow through with several ideas I had developed during pre-production.
Unfortunately there was an error with delivery, and we were left with right around 60 minutes to get every shot needed. It took some quick thinking and moves, but we thankfully were still able to produce some great shots, thanks in large part to my crew.
Hope you enjoy the video, and please leave some feedback! Would you like to see me add anything in these behind the scenes videos?
