Fighting crime and protecting civilians has never been a glamorous job. But just because life as a police officer comes in a perpetual state of danger, it doesn’t meant that the law can’t ride in style.

Imagine being a police officer in the UK and you get handed the keys to an Oakley-designed Porsche Panamera Turbo police car. Yeah, you’d be doing back flips too. Unfortuantely, this Panamera Turbo police vehicle isn’t a legally-sanctioned one but is only a test unit.

But to illustrate exactly how a Panamera can be tuned to become a crime-busting cruiser, Oakley decided to lower the car, strip it down, modify it with carbon fiber, and give it a platter of new features including a brand new titanium exhaust, magnesium alloy wheels and a performance upgrade that boosts the Panamera Turbo’s power to 580hp.

But even if this car isn’t a licensed police cruiser, the mere sight of it out on the road should give would-be speeders second thoughts on putting the pedal to the metal. You wouldn’t want this car to be consistently occupying space on your rear view mirror.

It’s so amazing that the government spend their money to give the law enforcer a great car to be used.

Wow! Though expensive, I think for all the people in this world the police men really needs those ’SPEED’ to caught the mad men.

As I watched the clip, I cannot believe that they used Porsche; and now dubbed as the most expensive taxi in the world. How I wish I can check it out and take a ride for a minute.

Ouch! Even police have experienced Panamera, and it’s a modified version made specially for them.

Darn it, are this for real? Police cars are getting expensive every year.

Why in the world are there test units for Porsche Cop cars? I mean as a taxpayer, I wouldn’t allow the authorities or those planning to, to use my hard earned cash and use it on silly purchases such as this car. It’s expensive and if the Police use those money for something else such as build new roads or improve jail system, then it is going to be a more suitable and worth expense for me.

A panamera for a police cruiser? Well let’s not hope that some bad guys don’t get their hands on this. Because a regular police cruiser wont have a chance to catch up with this to do a dodge move.
