Fighting crime and protecting civilians has never been a glamorous job. But just because life as a police officer comes in a perpetual state of danger, it doesn’t meant that the law can’t ride in style.

Imagine being a police officer in the UK and you get handed the keys to an Oakley-designed Porsche Panamera->ke1840 Turbo police car. Yeah, you’d be doing back flips too. Unfortuantely, this Panamera Turbo police vehicle isn’t a legally-sanctioned one but is only a test unit.

But to illustrate exactly how a Panamera can be tuned to become a crime-busting cruiser, Oakley decided to lower the car, strip it down, modify it with carbon fiber, and give it a platter of new features including a brand new titanium exhaust, magnesium alloy wheels and a performance upgrade that boosts the Panamera Turbo’s power to 580hp.

But even if this car isn’t a licensed police cruiser, the mere sight of it out on the road should give would-be speeders second thoughts on putting the pedal to the metal. You wouldn’t want this car to be consistently occupying space on your rear view mirror.
