There are car crashes that, no matter how hard it is to accept, just come as a case of being the victim of some tough circumstance. No matter how unfortunate they may be, there’s really noting you can do about it except chalk it to a case of being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and having Mother Nature get in the way.

This Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera suffered that kind of fate when a heavy cross-wind pushed the supercar’s parachute – it was deployed after the vehicle’s quarter-mile run – causing the Gallardo to lose control and hitting a bump in the grass that launched it 10 feet into the air before crashing back down and flipping over multiple times.

Really, how often do these kinds thing happen?

Fortunately, the driver of the car only suffered injuries, although the tuned-up Gallardo Superleggera wasn’t as fortunate. Check out the video and see the reaction of the witnesses who saw the car do an untended somersault in the air.
