Video: ZR1 at Nurburgring

As reported at the end of June, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 was driven by General Motors development engineer Jim Mero around the Nürburgring in a time of 7:26.4. And now you have the chance to see it all in a video released earlier by GM.

I didn’t bother watching it because I read somewhere that they used a rolling start. The ZR take not take of from standstill as most cars did. Iam willing to bet this thing will not do less than 7.35 if timed properly.

Those GM pricks, I guess thats why their Caddilac CTS-V also lapped 7.39. They lied, f**king A holes. I hope they go into bankruptcy.

you’re right, they "stole" a couple of yards!! they stopped the clock in a different part of the circuit.

watch the very beginning of the video when the car is already moving fast, and their timer at the upper right side still hasn’t started running. that shaved off at least 6 seconds of the corvette’s time. no wonder it did so well! thanks for announcing a big lie GM! i always knew you were a liar GM, but i never thought you were dumb enough to not notice a little thing like that!
