Still high on the success of their Passat based Comfort Coupe, the German automaker Volkswagen is playing around with the design of their classic hatchback to incorporate a Golf sized compact four door into the lineup. If it ever does come to fruition, you can expect the Golf CC to start showing up only two years after the after the seventh generation hatchback arrives in showrooms, something that is slated for 2012. On paper the 2014 Golf CC will technically be a saloon due to its four door layout, but to the eye the CC’s signature coupe like profile will its arched roofline and tapering rear window will make it appear to be a much sportier ride. The Golf’s theme of practicality will continue on the inside thanks to space conscious folding rear seats to maximize usability and at the same time the interior of the smaller Comfort Coupe promises to be a bit more luxurious than the standard hatchback.

Wow, Let us wait on how many Golf CC will be release this time. This time, I’ll take time to check on the updates. Since then, I am so curious about this. It’s only 2011, we have to wait for 3 more years.

If you thought rear seat headroom was tight in the CC.If this shares a body shell with the A3 sedan that some think is heading stateside, there may be a case for profitability here. Can’t wait til Frankfurt..

VWAG, just make sure not to copy Honda/Acura’s formula for a (hideous) 4-5dr tall wagon/coupe/crossover thingamajig.

I don’t see at any point why they want to wait for 2014 just to launch this 4-door car? Is it that stupidity for them to do that? It’s all over the net and even they have a line up of hatchback cars this 2010, there’s no harm to launch it right away.

Nice looking car, but it could be a bit more coupe-ish. It makes sense that there would be a Golf CC. After all, the entire point of the Passat CC was to take a relatively boring looking car and make it more interesting. I’m sure the base Golf could use the same treatment.

Of course the test run is what matters to me. I’m also worried about the weight of this car and for 1000 pounds, it is that heavy and the horse power of 1000 that level the weight where I think that it’s not going to be that fast. Anyways I will wait for the time record of this car.

IMO, comfort maybe there and I think the performance of this car as I expected to be that good. I’m just waiting for the press release of this car and I will cross my fingers on it to have a good equipments to upset some critics of this car.

This car is not exactly for glam, it is for convenience. The designers focused more on the spacing, maybe the reason why it is called Volkswagen Golf. This is for those who want to have a car that can accommodate more riders or luggage. Can’t wait for 2014.
