So volvo decide to make a minivan which will arrive on the market on the next years.

Called PV50 the new car may profit from Volvo's  great position on the market, and find  its own niche.

Volvo is  known for being a strong,  safe and family-friendly marque,  qualities that suit the minivan target buyer perfectly.

Volvo also has an premium placement in the marke, and has the brand perception and the platform availability to move compact and full-sized minivans into the premium segment.

Already there are  several minivans developed for the  P1 platform,  that is shared with the S40,  V50 and C30.So adding a Pv50 platform would not be difficult at all.

The new minivan should use  Volvo's Haldex all-wheel drive system and more powerful engines like its T-5, to slot above Mazda5. Volvo's subtile but handsome design language  with strong shoulders and  muscular looks  would work well with a minivan.
