The McLaren P1 isn’t exactly a successor to the F1, but it does owe its existence to the F1 in one way or another. Be that as it may, it’s fast. It delivers a cold-hearted 903 horsepower from a 3.8-liter V-8, which is good enough to push this supercar up to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. The sprint to 124 mph? That comes in just 6.8 seconds. Hitting 186 mph is easily doable as well, and it does it in just 16.5 seconds. It can even run the quarter mile in 9.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 217 mph. And, somehow, it still manages to deliver 34 mpg on the combined scale. Imagine that. With all of this said, that’s not exactly why we’re here.
