It’s not exactly a production model yet, but it’s as close as it can possibly be. BMW debuted the iX3 Concept at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, and it’s already won its way into a lot of hearts. It’s got a lot of X3 styling cues with some EV-specific cues in the front and rear. Just take a look at that new grille – you better get used to it because it’s going to be the BMW trademark grille on electric vehicles in the future (well, most likely, anyway.) Its specs sound promising too. It is powered by BMW’s next-gen battery technology, so it offers up a range of around 249 miles from a 70 kWh battery pack. Putting power to the pavement is a 270 horsepower (200 kW) electric motor. There is no word on performance figures but you can plan on it being a torque monster, and it’ll probably be pretty quick too. Either way, if you can’t wait for it to go into production, we’ve plucked out a few awesome wallpapers to spruce up your desktop and get you by for the time being.
