• Wallpaper of the Day: 2020 Lincoln Aviator

The young blood returns with a clear target in mind

After a very short run in the early 2000s, Lincoln has finally brought back the Aviator nameplate. This time, the Aviator is ready to kick ass and take names, and its sights are set squarely on Mercedes, BMW, and Audi. Luscious on the inside yet powerful and commanding at the same time – that’s the exact recipe that makes the new Aviator. Under the hood sits a powertrain that can pump out as much as 400 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque (in hybrid form) while the exterior gives off a sleek, dominating aura that signifies the first step taken to bring Lincoln back to level ground and secure its relevance on the market once again. The Aviator has a long, hard fight ahead of it, at least until its backup in the form of the 2020 Lincoln Continental arrives. Until then, we thought we’d give the Aviator a little motivation by making it our wallpaper of the day. We’re displaying our favorite here but have included a number of other choices for you in the gallery below.

Robert has been an auto enthusiast his entire life. He started working cars at a young age, learning the basics from his father in the home garage on the weekends. As time went on, Robert became more and more interested in cars and convinced his father to teach him how to drive when he was just 13 years old. Robert continued working on cars in his free time and learned as much as he could about engines, transmissions, and car electrical systems, something that only fed his curiosity more and eventually led him to earn a bachelors degree in automotive technology with a primary focus on engine performance and transmission rebuilding.  Read full bio
