The M5 CS is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 that puts out 635 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. It comes with an AWD system and is mated to an 8-speed gearbox.

The 997.2-gen Turbo S packs a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine which puts out 530 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It drives all four wheels via a 7-speed DCT.

The M5 CS oozes ahead slightly, while the Porsche plays catch up.

The M5 CS completes the quarter-mile in 11.1 seconds, while the Turbo S took 11.2 seconds.

The rolling races make the Porsche look dated in terms of performance as the M5 CS wins both of them.

The M5 CS wins the braking test with a score of 3-nil over the 911 Turbo S.
